CSIR-NPL Technical Assistant Selection Process 2026

The selection involves two primary stages:

Trade Test: A qualifying practical test to shortlist candidates for the written exam.

Written Examination: OMR-based or Computer-based objective test consisting of three papers:

Paper I: Mental Ability Test (Qualifying, no negative marking).
Paper II: General Awareness & English Language (1 negative mark for wrong answers).
Paper III: Concerned Subject/Trade (100 questions, 1 negative mark for wrong answers).

Final merit is prepared based on performance in Paper II and Paper III only.
